I once saw a rider of a motor cycle go down and the thud as his head hit the curb. His helmet was knocked off. I never found out what happened to him. He was moving and plenty of cars stopped to give help, so we drove on.

Yep, always wear that helmet! Mine saved my life. But I'm still against helmet laws, I subscribe to freedom of choice and Darwinism! ;)
